great idea

Blah colors, but a great way to use stripes and tiny triangles at each corner.

So far it's 54x29" but I may crop it down to this shape... after I quilt it.

In the meantime I love this from Red Pepper Quilts

Darker and more intense than picture shows. It is up against that puke brown set I dyed and you saw on my shelf. The texture of the fabric is top notch dyer's cloth. Really exquisite. I order another set of 16 half yards in another rainbow gradation. The darks are soooo dark and rich, just a lot of dye was used.

Very nice patterning. Even darker, almost black in real life.

Thought you might like this

After I left you I went over to McKay's and got these two books. I think you already have Priscilla's, no?

I bought the scrap quilt one just for this three piece quilt. I must make a ton of these....

And I liked these so much but will have to try making them in hand dyeds. And fused of course.
Then I brought home my plant and put it here.

And we moved the mirror to my room too. Fills the gap.

Eye Candy

scrapbuster whole, originally uploaded by the little red hen -.
I might have to make something like this too. I was always afraid of the bias edges, but with paper piecing, nothing stretches out of shape. Who wouldn't love a nap under this. I like the narrow red strip running through each block.
I had that box full of triangles and saw a way to use them. Very simple and fast, no cutting, except to make the nine squares.
